Daman Village
is a poplar village tour, situated 80 kms south west of Kathmandu valley at an altitude of about 2,400 mtrs. Daman is surrounded by tropical forest and middle hills of Nepal, lies on the Mahabharat ranges. Daman Village offers you to see villager’s lifestyles and panoramic view of the mountains. Traveling on foot is the only way to see much of Nepal, firstly the mountains, but also and perhaps more importantly the people and their way of life. There is a view tower fitted with long range telescope. Daman can be reached in four hours drive from Kathmandu.
Daman is located on the Tribhuvan Highway in between Kathmandu and the town of Birgunj. One can enjoy colorful hills full of Rhododendrons, and orchids blooming along side of the highway during March and April. Chitwan National Park has long been one the country’s treasures of wildlife wonders. It is the habitat of one horned rhinoceros, gaur, royal Bengal tigers, wild elephants, four horned antelope, crocodiles, pangolin, golden monitor lizard, python and varieties of birds.Indeed this tour is one of the best of every nature lover. Chitwan is a very popular wildlife safari destination on account of its thriving wildlife population and easy accessibility from both Kathmandu and Pokhara.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour; Swayambu Nath Stupa, famous hindu Temple of Pashupatinath and buddhist pilgrims of Bouddhanath Stupa , Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Daman, Transfer to resort then short walking to the top of the hill.
Day 04: Rest Day At Daman, explore the village, overnight at hotle
Day 05: Daman to Chitwan.Early morning View Sunrise over the himalayas from the tower. After Breakfast, drive to Chitwan & transfer to the resort. Briefing on Royal Chitwan National Park, Jungle activities starts.
Day 06: Chitwan Jungle Safari Activities; full day jungle activities including canoeing, jungle walk, Elephant ride, Elephant Bath and view sunset from the bank of Rapti River.
Day 06: Chitwan to Manakamana Temple (Muglin); Early wake up with bird watching. After breakfast drive to Mugling and Cable car ride to Manakamana Temple. Explore the village, overnight at hotle
Day 07: Cable Car Ride back, drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 08: Final Departure.
